After his art studies at the Royal Academy in Liège/Belgium Hans
Greuel studied medicine and both professions remained
fascinating for him.
Today (2007) the 53-year-old General Practitioner has his
doctors office in Düsseldorf and has a good reputation as an
artist.

His key experience was a visit at the Indians
in Arizona - he was permitted to assist Chamanes at their
artistic as well as their medical work and understood that
sculptures, talismans and rituals were equivalent elements of a
treatment - together with a non-pharmaceutical therapy.

Relying on this Greuel resumed to stick to
medicine and art as healing methods as well and he promptes a
culture of calm viewing, interiorising to stimulate returing to
the own inner roots as an adequate way to confront the needs of
a modern life.
