1) Raphaëla Le Gouvello: ExtremeSurfingDoc and PioneerDoc par excellence!

In 60 days she just crossed the Indian Ocean as first human being on her 7,80 Meter long surf-board and she arrived on June 8th, 2006 in Réunion!
She was the first woman to cross the Atlantic Ocean in 2000.
Then she was the first person to cross the Mediterranian Sea in 2002
In 2003 she even crossed the Pacific Ocean from Lima to Tahiti in 89 days as pioneer!

Her special surf board is a unique prototype:

She is veterinarian doctor and holds a master of sciences in Natural Resources" of the Humboldt State University California.
Born 4th May 1960 she discovered her love for surfing at the coast of the french Bretagne.

From March 16th 2007 until April 30th 2007 she is performing a "marathon surf" along the coast of the french Bretagne,
presenting a long film about her crossing the Indian Ocean in June 2006.
Passing 400 sea miles along the coast she will visit 26 places and present parts of this film give interviews to the public.
There was even occasion for other SurfDocs to surf with her during some of the passages..... !
