Hello DoctorsHobbies-friends,

This is your FREE monthly DoctorsHobbies.com newsletter for February 2003.

News since the last newsletter:

1)
Would you have expected to know a GlassharpDoc?
Wow, our colleague in Wuerzburg/Germany is a real professional glassharp player!
He is participating in an interesting association of glassharp players world-wide
and DoctorsHobbies.com is providing links to several of them.

Go to http://www.doctorshobbies.com/GlassharpDocs.htm to get into this fascinating sound world!

2)
Did you know that the famous cartoon "Struwwelpeter" which had been translated to several languages
had been created by a medical doctor (psychiatrist) from Frankfurt/Main / Germany?

====================
See this frowsy "cratur" -
Pah ! its's Struwwelpeter !
On his fingers rusty,
On his tow-head musty,
Scissors seldom come;
Let his talons grow a year, -
Hardly ever combs his hair, -
Do any loathe him ? Some !
They hail him "Modern Satyre -
Disgusting Struwwelpeter."
====================

His name is Dr. Heinrich Hoffmann, and there is even a little museum in Frankfurt about his work.
I am going to visit it some time and get some impressions and make a new presentation.

Also I am planning on an eBook with his complete "Struwwelpeter" in english, german and french!

3)
The (very beautiful!) dentist Katja Kessler is also bestseller author of the new memoires of Dieter Bohlen ("Modern talking" pop band with Dieter Bohlen and Peter Anders) and she is dentist "Dr. med. dent.". Apart from that she writes for the BILD Zeitung Hamburg where she creates original texts for photos of naked models which are placed on EVERY issue on the first page (to rise the sales pitch!). Listen to an interview with her in TV clicking on our link to the RealMedia file from a linked page of the North German Television station!

4) Finally! You can get MusicDoc CompactDiscs directly from DoctorsHobbies.com !
Go directly to our new CD-Online-Shop and order via our secure saferpay.com server with your credit card online right away!

If you click on a CD title on the upper part of the window you will get the secure server site coming on the lower part of the window!

Have a look at the impressive list which is already available now. and imagine how many DocCDs will be available in the future.
So it might be time to begin your collection!

5) Last NOT least I have re-established contact with a very nice and beautiful colleague and good friend from my own medical studies in Hamburg:
Her civil name is Bruenhild Ulonska, a dentist violinist and classical soprano singer! Her artists name is Gloria Bruni.

In the last years she shifted more and more to composing. And not long ago she made the first premiere of her REQUIEM
in the vatican.......  (whatever one believes this seems to be a place estimated by  many people....)

Visit her starting from the HobbiesTable from ComposerDocs!

Get her CD with the Requiem from the DoctorsHobbies.com CD-Shop.

I am happy to have the proof of her former dentist activity in my own mouth: She made me two golden caps which are still perfectly fitting
after many years.

That was sure fun for me to collect news for you this month!

Yours

Wolfgang E.
