This is your FREE monthly DoctorsHobbies.com newsletter for March 2003.
News since the last newsletter:
Well, let me apologize for the delay of this newsletter. Normally I send it
in the first days of the month.
This time I was very busy because my wife (and I) bought a new house....
in www.buchen.de (sorry the english page of
my home town is not fully available, yet)!
Hopefully you understand this is no minor enterprise and so I got late.
This time I tried to make it easy for you: Just click on the photos to follow a theme!
1)
Did you know George Miller

the director of "Piggy Babe" is medical doctor?
Now you do and you can look at his resume at DirectorDocs!
2)
Did you take notice of the article about DoctorsHobbies in the World
Medical Journal?
this was one of the most important acknowledgements of DoctorsHobbies.com
And I am sure the increasing traffic comes also from that!
For example the month of February
brought 1725 VISITS (different persons)
with 12043 HITS (page-views)!
3)
Jochen Ludwig

is out new DiscoDoc and
OrganDoc!
That was interesting how we met: He was a school-mate of my wife. Recently
she got to know his
adress in Heidelberg (which is one hour from our place) and he came visiting us
at home.
Logical consequence of his visit: He signed up for the newsletter and began
working on his new domain
www.Jochen-Ludwig.de ! (Sorry, because
of a server problem this site will be refreshed shortly by Dr. Ludwig.
More than that: On the theatre ball of the Pforzheim town theatre ( www.Pforzheim.de
) we met his father
who is a Laboratory medical doctor. Also he signed up and works on www.LabDoc.de
!
Hopefully a photo of father Ludwig will be available there, soon.
4)
Dr.med. Werner Diehl, DanceMusicDoc.
Through the SingingDoc Walter Krick whose Compact Disc you can get over the DocCDShop
I got in touch with
Dr. Werner Diehl and also listened to some samples of his music. He is an
entertainer and I gues he has
played in front of many people for long long evenings!
5) CelloDocs
Beat Richner from Switzerland has done an incredible work in Cambodia
which can easily be associated with what Albert Schweitzer has done in
Lamabarene.
Visit his site which is linked from our small presentation and get Video of his
performances or support his work.
6) BackRunDocs !

forward
running
backward running!
An entirely different approach with a lot of advantages.
In Germany there are several medical doctors participating in these runs.
Visit BackRunDocs to find informations world-wide and where you can join a
run!
Even if Prof. Barry T. Bates is not a doctor in a strict sense he gave a lot to
medicine with his
Biomechanic research! I like these alternative points of view!
Another exciting month has passed!
See you soon!
Yours
Wolfgang E.
